The easiest way to level up on World of Warcraft is to play smart when it comes to completing your quests. If you can take all your quests in a particular zone at the same time then you will avoid a lot of wasted wandering time. To collect all your quests make sure that when you enter a new area that you get all the quests from the NPC's.

You should also considering teaming up with other players to help you achieve quests quicker. It is obviously better if you have to kill a certain amount of something if you have 2 or 3 players on the quest at the same time. Once you get to the point where the quest is complete then you can go back to soloing and then start another group when you need one.

If you can do a lot of quests that are a few levels below you really help to increase your EXP. Green quests are also quick and are easy to gain EXP. If your struggling with a quest and keep getting killed then it is best to try something else as you could be wasting a lot of time trying to complete the quest. You should also consider dumping quests that are gray or take a lot of running around to complete.

And finally don;t forget that the playing area is probably far larger than the areas you go into to complete you quest so every so often take some time out to see the detail that the developers have put into the rest of the game.
